I was born in the Netherlands in 1968 and I'm of Dutch-Sardinian descent. I'm a professional copywriter, journalist and blogger, and, being a mindfulness devotee, I develop mindfulness e-programmes which I sell through two successful websites in the Netherlands and the US.
I’m also an internationally published author of four non-fiction books with more than 85,000 copies of eight editions sold in total, of which two books have reached the bestsellers lists in the Netherlands.
Since 2007 I live in New Zealand with my husband and our cat Bobbie on a beautiful property with stunning views on the Pacific. In between our daily tasks of writing and designing (for our own websites as well as for a few valued clients) we drive to the beach for a walk or a surf, keep fit under the guidance of our personal trainer and produce our own Cames Cottage olive oil.
About my books
My books, websites and guest blogs have been featured by 25+ Dutch media outlets including the top women’s magazines, major newspapers and leading websites, such as Margriet, Libelle, GezondNu, Holistik, Santé, Flow and Men’s Health.
I have contributed countless articles on mindfulness to Weight Watchers Magazine Australia, NZ Life & Leisure, Times Newspapers, NZ Herald, M2Woman NZ, Counselling Today NZ and the Mental Health Foundation NZ. In addition I have appeared on TVNZ on various women’s programmes.
